The First Dutch E-mail Society (Eerste Nederlandse E-mail Maatschappij - ENEM) was founded in 2001 by two old hands in the IT and Internet industry: Hans Melgers and Rob Rooken. Both heavy e-mail users, they noticed that e-mail was badly handled by many companies, yet e-mail had become the most critical business application! Not only is e-mail need to communicate with customers and employees themselves, there is also lots of information stored in personal e-mail archives.
